Cortland, N.Y. -- The Bombers evened their record with their first win of the season.

The Bombers won seven individual events and one relay. The team of Steve Barnes (Malvern Prep/Glenmoore, Pa.), Jay Sellers (Hempfield Area/Greensburg, Pa.), Pat Ryan (Interboro/Prospect Park, Pa.) and Matt Olko (Rye/Harrison) won the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:25.25. Barnes was also victorious in two individual races, the 100- (50.19) and 200-yard (1:47.99) freestyles. Olko won the 50-yard freestyle (22.99), while junior Miguel Escobedo (Curtis/Staten Island) took the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.54). The two other Bomber wins came from sophomores Josh Tayrien (Chaparral/Paradise Valley, Ariz.) in the 500-yard freestyle (5:11.70) and Mark Tedeschi (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.39).
